Danny Wills is a designer, educator and researcher. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union where he was awarded the Henry Adams AIA Medal and the Yarnell Thesis Prize in Architecture, both honors given to the top-ranking student. He also holds a Master of Science in Design Theory and Pedagogy with Distinction from SCI-Arc.

From 2013 - 2017 he was a lecturer at ETH Zurich and project architect, building several public and non-profit projects in Cape Town, Barcelona, Budapest and San Francisco, along with holding various participatory workshops throughout Europe, Asia and the US. From 2018 - 2019 he was an adjunct professor teaching advanced studios at the International Program in Design and Architecture at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. Currently he is the Architecture Teacher Scholar at the California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
His work has been published in CLOG, BLDG BLOG, Journal of Architectural Education, trans magazin, Wallpaper, ArchDaily, Archinect and Designboom and exhibited in the Istanbul Design Biennial, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, and the Storefront for Art and Architecture in NYC.

Danny co-founded Space Saloon in 2017, a non-profit design laboratory dedicated to the crafting of collaborative hands-on experiences. Space Saloon holds its annual ‘community-in-residence’ festival in Southern California, which acts as a platform for both professional artists and architects, as well as young developing designers, to realize site-specific projects.
